My project will help give my students the tools they need to level the playing field. Many of the supplies listed are just the basic necessities that all students need to be successful; supplies including pens, pencils, paper, pencil cases. The binders are supplies that they can use to hold the materials that they need. Classroom organization items are used to help me maintain structure for them. Many of my students are new to the United States and they are not used to people caring about their needs. I work hard to change that mentality. Each day I work to show my kids that "I" care, their life before coming to me may have been difficult but they can be the change that they wish to see in the world. They can make this world, this country better for students like them. Supplying the needs of a classroom and its students is not easy, but with your help, it can be done.
