These books will help students feel independent in their research of art and artists in history. Having young child friendly print resources is so important in the classroom. They will also be used to help my students who are choosing to learn remotely. Every book that is placed in my classroom library is devoured. Kids love to sit on the reading stage and look at the pictures and get the information. Some even read to each other. While this year looks very different, I am hopeful that these books can be awaiting the students art room return by adorning their library shelves. Until then, they will be used in remote lessons where students can be introduced to what's waiting for them.
