Many of my students have a growing interest in science and engineering. They love to build with everything from cardboard boxes to scraps of paper. We already create many different structures and vehicles using whatever materials we can round up. We have become very good at repurposing materials we've gathered from our school and art supplies. Having the Maker Kit that includes colorful, functional building pieces will inspire us to be even more clever as we design, test, modify and create models of functional structures and vehicles! We would also love to share these materials with other classrooms and lead the way as engineers, scientists, designers and artists at our school.
