Every child has the ability to read; now we just have to get them to want to read! As a 6th grade teacher that teaches students in a high need community in St. Louis, Missouri, my students often do not have the luxury of going to the nearest bookstore and buying books and magazines that suit their interests. While my school is trying to update school libraries and provide students with the reading materials that motivate them to read, unfortunately for our low income school that is not feasible. With your help and support we can increase the level of reading and learning that goes on in my classroom. My students and I truly appreciate your support!

About my class
