My students love of reading has grown so much this year. They are craving more and more books. They want books of all interests. Their ability to challenge themselves when reading is amazing. The are really peaking and I want to make sure they rocket to the top. My class is skyrocketing to reading. They love books. The more they read, the more they learn. My students live in the urban core in Kansas City and books will open so many possibilities for them. Why not help them achieve their endless potential with a book and the adventure it holds? The books I requested are all of high interest to my students and only stand to fuel their rocket for blast off into the wonderful world of reading. They love of reading has skyrocketed this year. Its the best thing to see their love of reading take off. While I have many students who are reading chapter books, I do have some that need help with their fluency. The Building Fluency card bank will be a valuable resource for me to help aid and develop precise interventions for those students who are in need of more direction instruction for fluency. The fluency bank cards will also allow me to track those students who are reading chapters books and make sure they continue skyrocketing. Fluency is such a key component in reading and using the data gained from the bank cards will give my students a fighting chance to be successful and there are no kids more deserving my skyrocketing readers.
