Imagine my students surprise when they walk into the classroom and see a new colorful rug with words in Spanish. They will be very excited to have their own spot to sit and listen to stories, share experiences with a partner, and play games in word study. My class will be grateful for having this Bilingual Phonics Classroom Rug for our common meeting place. It will give my students the opportunity to practice Spanish words each day, motivating them to share all their knowledge in daily classroom activities. This carpet will be an essential resource to introduce my students from one activity to another.
