Students received a bag that included their whiteboard, expo markers, and a eraser that is assigned to them personally to use throughout the year. Students having their own personal materials teaches them responsibility, while also making activities fun when learning.\r\n\r\nStudents use their whiteboards during lessons to write their answers down to show me as a quick check, or exit ticket. This helps us especially during math so students can change their answers as they receive feedback. \r\n\r\nStudents were so excited to see that they were provided with the whiteboards, markers, and erasers. They are more engaged in lessons when using them, as they find the lessons more fun!
