My students are the hardest working kids around! We are a school of over 850 kindergarten though fifth grade students in a low-income, immigrant community with over 90% of the student body qualifying for free or reduced lunch. 70% of our students are English Language Learners. I am so proud of them. For many of my students, their weekly visits to the school library may be the only exposure they get to literature outside their classroom. I feel so lucky to share a library with students who are always so eager and excited to read and learn!
