My kindergarten students attend an elementary school in a highly impoverished neighborhood. Despite the many challenges that arise in their lives, I strive to help each student reach academic and personal success. My students are part of a dual language program and are learning English and Spanish simultaneously. My students are eager learners who are working towards being fully bilingual and bi-literate. They have an undying curiosity for the world around them. It is crucial that this curiosity is nourished from their earliest experiences in school. We need your help in trying to equip our dual language classroom with important resources to ensure their success!
