My students need a portable air conditioning unit! When scholars are comfortable in their environment, both physically and social-emotionally they will learn better. My scholars have a very hard time learning in a scorching hot and stifling room. A comfortable room will increase the focus and attention of the students, and also motivate them to come to school when the weather is warm. By donating to this project you will help students to continue learning during the warmer times of the year and also cut down on issues such as nausea, and nosebleeds which occur when the room is too hot and uncomfortable. There are also students who have asthma, who are negatively affected by heat and humidity.
