My students struggle with performing every day activities such as using scissors, grasping a pencil, dressing and undressing, feeding themselves using utensils, etc. The supplies listed in the project will offer opportunities to develop my students' fine motor skills to improve their self-help and academic skills and at the same time will allow them to receive the input they need to regulate their little bodies and fully participate in daily lessons and activities. I want my students to be able to engage in new experiences that will utilize a therapeutic approach and help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.
