My classroom services mostly 8th graders, with a couple 6th and 7th graders mixed in, with learning and developmental disabilities. I also have my medical alert service dog with me, so our room certainly can get quite full and busy! We focus our time on math, reading comprehension, and writing skills, and try to sprinkle in some social/emotional learning and life skills where we can. I love to use real life scenarios and projects where I can to practice these essential skills. I usually average about 20 students on my caseload per school year and any donations will directly positively impact each and every one of them.
