I teach in a small Oklahoma town and economic times make things like class sets of journals unattainable. My language arts classes love to discover new ways of writing and includes all types of students. I have a wide variety of learners from very high level students to ESL students to reluctant readers. We do monthly creative writing projects, compete in contests with other classes, and participate in rewards programs with local food places.
