Kindergarten is an amazing year full of learning and growing. But as we all know, learning and growing can be full of challenges; maintaining their attention, keeping them on task, and focusing their energies in a productive way. Fortunately, with the advent of flexible seating, all three of these challenges are greatly minimized allowing children to squirm, bounce, swivel, and lean, keeping them focused on the comfort of learning rather than the comfort of sitting. One of these types of seating, called wobbly stools, are a proven and popular type of alternative seating, and although we have had great success with six currently being used in the classroom, obtaining another six would afford every child in the classroom some form of flexible seating.
