My students are ones who for the most part have no interest in reading. When approached with the possibility of this project they got very excited and started requesting books they would like to see in the classroom. These students come from an area where reading isn't a priority. Their parents are for the most part uneducated, however would like to see their children excel in school and go off to college in order to better their lives.
