I hope to bring 50 Mann Middle School girls to this Teen Girls Expo! Local professional women and community advocates provide empowerment through seminars, panel discussions, and entertainment. Girls will have the opportunity to engage in discussion, interact with others to share their stories, and connect with community mentors and service providers. Outcomes include increased self-esteem, self-efficacy, knowledge, awareness, and guidance towards life purpose and direction. This is a one-day expo designed to increase the self-esteem and self-efficacy of teenage girls in underserved communities. The expo brings girls together, in a positive and safe environment, and encourages them to lead productive and purposeful lives. This event is all about inspiring, uplifting, and encouraging girls from K - College!
