Headphones help us focus. Wearing headphones will allow each student to focus on working on their own question set in a testing environment. It will be so much easier to focus if they were not interrupted by other people's computers suddenly reading aloud or making sounds. Research shows that hearing fluent reading is a best practice. Our students love hearing stories read aloud to them. They are learning to read fluently with expression. I love recording stories and having them record them for classmates too! Good quality headphones and a speaker will be so much fun. We love listening to guided mindfulness, watching short educational videos and we especially enjoy recording and listening to one another recite poetry, sing songs, or making a recording of a book for our friends!
