My students are female student athletes. They come from a low-income school and many of them cannot afford to pay for the basic necessities for school or sports. These girls do not let this stop them from their dream. Although money is hard to come by they continue to dedicate themselves to the sport and work hard with the materials they have. Some of these girls have not bought a new ball in the 4 years they have been playing basketball.
