The Common Core standards are encouraging teachers to integrate and cross over more learning which is exciting! I'm looking for ways to dip into many buckets of learning with each opportunity I set up in my classroom instead of teaching subjects in isolation. Fortunately, I am teaching in a beautiful area surrounded by nature that creates an amazing backdrop for a lot of inquiry style learning. These adventure packs will allow us to be ready to go! We can pack our bags and get outside to measure and orientate, to draw and reflect, to listen and search and to wonder and ask about the world around us.
