In our classroom, we encourage collaborative discussion and teamwork with our classmates. To accomplish this task, we use our "Classroom Carpet", which is a large rug. We constantly use our "Classroom Carpet" for learning and understanding new concepts in all subject areas. Our "Classroom Carpet" is also used as a way to practice our social skills, and to participate in team-building activities, to build a sense of unity in our classroom. However, due to frequent daily use, our current "Classroom Carpet" is worn down beyond repair, and since our classroom flooring is solid concrete, it makes it difficult and uncomfortable to learn without it. By using these Foam tiles, it will provide our classroom with a new learning space, where we can continue to learn and grow not only academically, but emotionally and socially.
