One of my English language learners has become more confident during reading because the apps help her practice new words—she's even raising her hand in class more often! Another student who sometimes struggles to stay focused has been able to stay on task much longer with the help of the headphones. Using the building kits, the students worked in small groups to design and construct different types of bridges. They had to test their structures to see how much weight they could hold, applying their knowledge of engineering and math principles. It was incredible to watch them collaborate, problem-solve, and use critical thinking skills as they modified their designs based on their test results.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in the classroom was contagious! The students were so motivated and proud of what they had created, and they were able to make connections between the project and real-world engineering.
