The kids I work with are beautiful souls. I have the privilege of working with students on the autism spectrum. As a para-professional educator I work primarily 1:1 or 1:2 with these very special kids. I see true joy in their learning every day, and feel their excitement with every new achievement. While I work primarily in an academic setting within the classroom, I also have the immense pleasure of teaching art to the elementary and middle school students. The exposure to art has been tremendous in their lives and has brought out confidence in these kids we never knew was there.
