When introduced to new technology, our students rise to the challenge and take on new found skills such as: Word Processing, Research and Presentations. These skills form part of education standards that will set them up for success the rest of their lives. In this fast growing world of technology, giving our scholars the access to these resources are vital to providing an equitable education. Specifically, the Chromebooks will be used for: classwork assignments using google classroom, reading in apps such as Myon, and Google slides to help anchor research projects. This also lends itself for opportunities of student choice, which leads to increased student engagement within the classroom. In addition, granting students the ability to creatively express themselves within their assignments. Help me provide our students with the opportunity to access the resources and information that will contribute to their success!
