I teach Forensic Science. Year 1 Forensic Science, Year 1 Honors Forensic Science and Year 2 Honors Forensic Science. In order to keep my students interested, excited and engaged all year I need a wide variety of supplies and tools. I also need enough supplies and equipment to keep all of my students active all of the time. Waiting for someone to finish using the supplies is the best way to encourage a student to get off task. I am constantly looking for new ways to make my forensic classes more exciting and real life. With equipment like a comparison microscope, trace evidence labs, life like mannequins, and much more. My students not only collect and analyze evidence. They create their own crime scenes, solve mock crime scene, take the evidence to court and make CSI like videos of how they think the crime happened. The materials I have received through Donors choose has made a big difference in my classroom.
