We believe it is extremely important to celebrate student achievement and recognize as many students for their participation in as many different activities as we can: -Academic -Artistic -Social -Extra Curricular -Community Service By continuously recognizing students and their accomplishments, we are able to cultivate a sense of school pride in our students. We also feel that we are creating an environment where students are motivated to do their best and participate and excel in as many activities as possible. We are requesting funding for a poster maker for our computer lab. Currently our poster maker is broken; the purpose of this request is to continue to be able to photograph our students in action. The hallways of our school are decorated with photos of our students and the activities in which they are involved. -Students of the Month -Centennial Picnic & Assembly -Halloween Parade -Breakfast with the Police -Art Club Activities -Dr. Seuss Guest Readers -School Chorus Performances -School Assemblies & Activities -Field Day -Quiz Bowl Competition Many parents remark about how great the interior of the building looks, and often peruse the posters for the latest picture of their child. We would like to continue this tradition as we move forward into 18-19 school year.
