My Childcare students are divided into 4 groups per class they then go teach at our on campus preschool. I would like to possibly give my students all the supplies they need to research and create their lesson plans and activities like real teacher they hope to one day be. These items will help my students to create their lesson plans and activities faster and more efficient, allowing them to spend more of their class time working on the rest of their classwork. Students need laptops to be able to find online resources to plan when teaching in the preschool. This will help them veer away from the paper pencil method and create hands on activities to use while teaching in the preschool. It will also help them go online and research ideas for their lessons that will help teach and reinforce skills such as language arts, fine and gross motor skills, math, and science. The laptops will also help our ELL students to work independently and be able to translate words while planning. This will help them collaborate their ideas more clearly with auditory and visual assistance and will help them collaborate their ideas with their classmates. The cricut will help them create the proper materials for the activities they will be teaching in the preschool. This tool will help them demonstrate their creativity and produce the ideas they have developed through their research. Your generous donation to our project will help our classroom by impacting our students to become the future educators they inspire to be. As future educators our students hope to continue planting the seeds of our future and we do with them. We hope to prepare them with all the resources and knowledge needed to be future educators.
