My students are the best! They are creative, determined, and come into my class every day with smiling faces ready to learn. My school is a high poverty school and our students receive 100% free breakfast and lunches. Many children at my school face different challenges at home but strive to learn everything they can at school. When coming into the music room, they are eager to participate in learning through creating. My class is a time for them to release frustrations, explore other cultures, and find that music can be anything that they want it to be.
