This year, students at my school will be able to choose entomology as an elective! To be successful in their elective , they will need nets to collect many of the insects commonly found in our area. I am excited to share my knowledge about insects with my students and help them expand their understanding of the natural world. In our rural agricultural community, knowledge of insects is an economical necessity. By learning how to identify, catch and preserve insects some students may discover they have interest or passion that could lead to a hobby or even a career option worth exploring.

About my class
