The equipment purchased for our PE classes will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. With workouts that are scale-able, PE can equally benefit a person who is less active or an accomplished athlete by tailoring workouts so that each participant is challenged enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress. The yoga mats, Plyo box sets, and wall timer that will be purchased through DonorsChoose will benefit all 750 of our students. Some of the equipment will be specifically used for the Adaptive PE classes I teach, so that every student can participate in fitness and feel successful doing so! Help my students get the physical activity and fitness experience they need and deserve!
