By providing a rug in my classroom, my students will be able to gather together for a wonderful and fun learning experience. I want to expand their imaginations by being able to move around the room and be able to sit somewhere that isn't only at their desks. I want them to be able to make memories with one another, tell us about their favorite books, how their day is going, and even show and tell. I want them to remember "how we all sat together on Ms. Agha's rug and had an amazing learning adventure." I want my students not only to remember me, but I want them to remember how I helped them achieve their goals and achievements. I believe this starts with a group of cute little firsties on a colorful magic carpet in Ms. Agha's classroom!
