Research shows that allowing students to sit in comfortable, flexible seating options greatly enhances their focus. This year I really tried to have more options for where students sit. And have found it to be a success! My students love having options for where they sit throughout the day. These choices have helped students stay more focused on their work due to being more comfortable. I'd love to add what I've started with the addition of these additional seating options. We currently only have one wobble stool that is in high demand. Additional wobble stools is a need in our classroom. Another favorite place to sit is our low floor table, but the cushions we currently use have not held up through the school year. I love the option of them having a back to their seating.
