My students come from a low income area in Indianapolis. We are a small neighborhood school where most of our students come from a "rough" area. Many of our students do not have any opportunity to use technology or get praise for their work other than at school. All of our students are on the universal lunch program. There is heavy gang violence in the neighborhood and it would be beneficial for the students to have a creative outlet while at school.
