The speaker I purchased a few years ago was inadequate and didn't meet the motivational needs of my high school students. I don't allow them to play their own music with headphones because I would like to control what they hear (music that is age-appropriate, and isn't offensive). I would like to provide my students with uplifting, positive music to ensure I maintain high levels of motivation and attention so they can be rigorously engaged in physical activity. Thus, I would like to purchase a high decibel speaker. I believe increased student motivation would benefit their overall performance in their fitness assessments.
