Did you know Charles Darwin studied earthworms for most of his career? He even said, "It may be doubted if there are any other animals which have played such an important part in the history of the world as these lowly organized creatures." Your donations will help my curious third through fifth-grade students understand the role that earthworms play in aerating and creating soil so rich in nutrients that plants thrive. They will eagerly explore how vermicomposting helps our environment by creating both individual and class compost bins, while also discovering the anatomy and habits of this beneficial animal.
