My students and I have the privilege to work together for multiple years during their music specials from Young 5's to 6th grade. Their capacity for learning is limitless, their musical creativity is inspiring, and their care for each other inside our community is humbling. Student's musical ability blossoms during these early years by participating in many different learning opportunities. We learn from a variety of musical activities, genres, and tools that engages student creativity and inspires their own musical style. Watching my elementary students find their love for music, unlock their ability to play instruments, and enjoy the gift of singing is my daily joy.
