My students are a lively, energetic, and enthusiastic bunch. Our classroom is centered around community building and collaborative learning across subjects. The same old setting and desks are not realistic for 21st century students. When given the chance to work together, students are proven to be more engaged and successful! The whiteboard top adjustable petal tables in this project will enable my students to easily move around the room, complete group work, and choose a more engaging space to work. The adjustability function will allow students to easily raise and lower tables to fit their comfort preferences. The whiteboard top feature will also allow them to experiment with different skills and problem solving methods, especially in math! This will be the start of a long term project to fully furnish a flexible seating setting in my classroom. Students spend most of their day in school learning, it is important they have comfortable and engaging seating options to keep them invested in their learning!
