My amazing students devote themselves to coming to school to make their lives, our city, and this world better. Milwaukee is not an easy place to grow up-- as it is rated one of the top segregated cities in the Nation-- and my students face more struggles than most of us can imagine on a daily basis. Many of these kids come to school under the assumption that they won't be successful because that's what they have been told by society. I'm here to show them that is not their reality- and the work we do in class helps them to understand this, overcome adversity, and change the future. Your support helps to make dreams come true for the kids who never dreamed it possible.
