Riverview Middle School serves over 850 students from a variety of backgrounds. About 90% of our students are receiving free or reduced lunch. Our students live in a community that is encompassed in poverty, violence, and homelessness. Some have suffered through various trauma and see our school as their safe haven. Our mission statement says that, "We are committed to providing the best education possible for our students in a safe and supportive learning environment. We develop each student's own potential through high expectations of student performance, strong efforts toward involvement of parents and a dedicated, enthusiastic staff."
