Each day our class meets on the carpet for our morning meeting and for our lessons through out the day. This is the place where we all come together to learn and build our classroom community. With this carpet, students will be organized in a way that they will be respectful of each others individual space. It will also allow me to organize students by rows, by color and create groups accordingly. Along with the carpet adding organization to the room, it will also create an inviting classroom environment. As a teacher at a Magnet School, we have students from other classes coming in my classroom for electives. It is important for the classroom to be inviting for any student to come in and learn.
