I am a First Grade teacher in a rural school that serves grades Pre-K through Second. My family and I live in this community and this is why finding the resources necessary for my students to have the best learning opportunity is so important to me. Unfortunately, local and state funds aren't enough to provide everything we need in order to keep up with the growing demands of technology in classrooms, or even just the demands of every day classroom needs. My school system is a STEAM Charter System, and STEAM activities are very near and dear to my heart. However, we need more resources to make this happen. Through your generous help, I will be able to give my students more of the resources we need to further their learning as we work to improve literacy and math skills.
