I have learned, after 32 years of teaching, that using art as a springboard to reading and writing inspires young children to do better in school. My students will create beautiful art master pieces with water colors and oil pastels. Then they will use their drawings to learn how to read and write better. Their self confidence and enthusiasm for learning will gain new heights. Thank you for supporting my students during this difficultly time away from the regular classroom. Distance learning is very challenging for all. I can’t wait to get started with my new students. Big things are coming their way with these exciting materials.
