I am requesting a class set of a graphic novel representation of the United States Constitution and a set of Constitution Go Fish games. One of the best ways to help students learn is to provide them with materials that they can easily understand and to which they can readily relate. Teaching students about the Constitution with this class set of graphic novels and games will help them to better understand the principles presented in one of the most important documents in our history. Giving my students the opportunity to decode the Constitution for themselves will help them to gain confidence in these basic tenets and build capacity for the course ahead. When students have a solid foundation of knowledge on the Constitutional Foundations of our government, they can apply that framework to all the institutions and functions of our democratic system.
