The projector will make a significant impact on my students' lives. While involved in the various studies that we undertake in our class, the projector could open many doors of learning. We could watch videos of an arborist cutting down a weak tree while studying trees. We could watch videos of various ball games or a wrecking ball in action while learning about balls. While learning about clothes, we would watch videos of a dressmaker/weaver at work. The projector would make a difference, because it would give all my students the opportunity to learn about things that may not be readily available in the classroom or on a field trip. Also, when we watch the videos as a class, we can have class discussions and shared writing experiences following the videos, so that all would benefit from the entire experience. With the projector in our class, we could travel the world virtually, and broaden my students' horizons in so many ways. We currently use my laptop to watch videos, but it is difficult for everyone to see properly. In addition, with the projector on hand, we could invite the students' parents to watch these videos with us, which would encourage our students on their educational journey. Having their parents watch the videos with us would also give them an additional opportunity to participate in the classroom with their children.
