Over the past few years I have witnessed the engagement my students have when they have choice in their workspace as well as in their seating choice. I have noticed that many of my first grade students like to sit on the floor when they are working, but a lack of comfortable seating options has made that difficult. The seats I am asking for would complement the different types of stools and chairs I currently have. They would provide my students with options for sitting on the floor and at tables that are at a height matched for floor seating.
