I am requesting an assortment of writing materials to stock our writing center for the upcoming school year. The post-its will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons. The timer will help students to track their process and help them stay on track. The flair pens will help them as they are learning and practicing the writing process. The markers and crayons will make it easier for my students to illustrate their work and bring it to life. My students will see themselves as authors and illustrators reflecting on their own experiences. We will use these materials to to help us become life-long writers.
