I am a teacher at a Title 1 school where the students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch. Our school also provides food bags for students in need to take home over the weekend. Most of my students are ESOL and face many challenges at school and home. Despite this, my students come into the classroom eager to learn. They always have a big hug waiting each day. Many try hard to be successful; however, because there is a lack of resources, they are unable to practice the skills needed to help them grow.
