My students are fifth graders from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We are located in a growing suburban district in Delaware which focuses on teaching twenty first century skills to twenty first century learners. The school encompasses first through fifth grade, with my students being the example of mature young adults ready to take the leap into middle school. Our school offers technology in many classrooms, but cannot afford to have it in every classroom. We try to enrich the "whole" student from providing a hot breakfast to creating engaging and exciting lessons.
