My children live in a high poverty area. However, they refuse to be defined, or limited, by their surroundings. When they arrive at school each day they know they are safe and loved! The culture of our school and every classroom is that you are a SCHOLAR! You are expected to be your BEST at all times. My children have gone above and beyond this expectation. Their eagerness to learn is never in question. They are always willing to help one another whenever and however they can. They are the most loving children any teacher could dream of. However, reality being what it is, there are some things which we have to do without and circumstances we must make the best of. The fulfillment of this DonorsChoose wish will give them the tools they need to soar.
