My beautiful and energetic students have a longing for and love of learning! Our day is filled with reading and writing workshops, math centers, science and social studies units, art and research projects, community circles and lots of hands-on activities and real world application. Music and P.E. happen through fundraising. One of the favored places in our classroom is our library, sorted by both various genres of books and leveled books. The students make a wish list of books every month from our Scholastic book order that they would love to have in the classroom. Because of our school's Title I status, there is often greater need than the resources available can provide. Through Donors Choose, I hope to fund certain materials, projects and field trips to support my deserving students in their quest to reach their potential, achieve success and have rich learning experiences including outside of the classroom!
