Our students will live in a future filled with technology that we have not even thought of yet. Today's technology and the ability to use it well is a stepping stone to a successful future. This is obvious to students. They thirst for technology knowledge and practice. Technology can be a great equalizer. It allows students to learn at their personal level and helps me as their teacher meet students at their current abilities. We need Chromebooks to access materials on each student's level. For example: Some students are reading at a 3rd grade level and others are reading at a high school level. Websites like NewsELA allow students to read the same science and social studies content at their personal level. This allows students to study these important subjects while improving their reading skills.
